A pre-wedding shoot in London with Harriet & Jack
We travelled to London at the weekend to meet Harriet & Jack for their pre-wedding photoshoot on Parliament Hill, Hampstead Heath. The place holds special memories for the couple as this is where Jack proposed, hence the reason they wanted to return for these photos
After a four hour train journey from our home in the Lake District to London Euston, we travelled across to the entrance to Hampstead Heath Park where we met Harriet and Jack in person for the first time and what a lovely couple they turned out to be.
Being a Lake District wedding photographer it was like being at home as we entered the leafy park with the Autumn colours just arriving and many leaves on the floor.
Thankfully the weather was unseasonably warm and we enjoyed the walk up to the viewpoint taking the odd photo along the way. The view from the top was stunning with the London skyline in the distance and this is what we wanted to capture behind Harriet and Jack, as you can see in the image above.
From here we meandered back down the hill chatting about next years wedding at Askham Hall, back in my neck of the woods in the Lake District. The venue is beautiful and I'm sure it will be a wonderful day, I'm priviledged to have the honour of being their wedding photographer and I can't wait.
Best wishes for your big day next year guys.
